Spring Pre-Registration
Okay, on Thursday we are going to do more pre-registration for the Spring semester. Bring $30 and we will probably have you take turns going out of class and registering. Shoko will be in Rm. 24 to register anyone who needs to sign up for classes starting March 22. It's easier now because the lines are shorter!

Still turn in your homework.
I would still like to receive your homework if you haven't turned it in yet. Just write 2-3 paragraphs about your specific goals for learning Eglish this semester. I want to use this homework assignment to look back at toward the end of the semester.

Distance Learning
Hello wonderful students. The homework for the weekend is to finish Unit 2 on American Government in the distance learning packet. There will be a quiz Tuesday on this material. We are aiming for 70% correct on the quiz in order to receive credit for it. We will usually have one week to study the material. Again, I apologize for giving it to you a little late. See you Monday!

Welcome!
Welcome to our "Ian's English" blog. This is a place for English website links, class homework, class news and pictures of us! I hope it is useful for you. My email is ibatstone@tastusd.org. Please feel free to communicate, ask questions, and even have me correct things that you write. Cheers.
Your homework tonight is to write about your favorite family member. Write 3 to 4 paragraphs about why you like this person so much, what they have done in your life, and why you respect them. Turn this into me tomorrow for grading. I will get them back to you by the end of the week.
Here is a picture of my family, which I'm very proud of. My wife Erin, daughter Ella (4), and son Judah (1)..
